Senior Software Engineer

Tano builds agents that run influencer marketing the way a great person would: sourcing creators, briefing them, negotiating, and rewarding the ones who perform. The benchmark is not another tool, it is the human who used to do all of this by hand, and we clear that bar live in production for paying brands today. The channel runs on relationships, which is why it has never scaled. We are hiring a senior software engineer to own the system that unlocks them.

We don't compete with software. We compete with humans.

Live for: ElevenLabs, Google, Fyxer, Skin+Me, Champo, Bloom & Wild, Biomel. The product is the bottleneck, not demand.

Why this is different: this is not a demo. Our agents run the full creator lifecycle on autopilot, around the clock: briefing, negotiating, reviewing content, and rewarding performers, all while managing live budgets. It has to work flawlessly because we are competing with the human who did every step by hand. And because we run the campaigns ourselves, we know exactly what a working agent has to be. Discovery and reporting are the easy part. Doing sourcing, comms and incentivisation programmatically is the real systems problem.

What you would own

You would own the influencer affiliate management agent: the system that turns a single successful post into a months-long relationship, and a one-off affiliate into a real brand ambassador. It is our hardest, highest-leverage surface, because it runs unattended over months with no human left to babysit it. You own the design, the build, the ship and the architecture, and as the team grows it becomes the foundation others build on.

If you want to point at a system in production and say you designed it, this is the closest seat there is to being a technical founder.

What we are looking for

• You ship across the whole stack, backend and frontend, without waiting to be told what to build.
• You have built and shipped real AI agents or application-layer AI in production (not demos or prompt wrappers), and you know where these systems break.
• Product taste: you make good calls on scope and UX without a PM.
• At your best in ambiguity, on a team that ships continuously.
• Roughly 3 to 6 years in, and ideally someone who wants to be a technical founder themselves within a few years.
• Bonus: Go · LangGraph or comparable agent frameworks · Postgres and Supabase depth · zero-to-one experience · a feel for the creator economy.

The stack

TypeScript (NestJS, Next.js) and Go, with Postgres, LangGraph, Google Gemini, Supabase, Fly.io and Vercel. Early enough that you will shape it.

How we work

Whoever has the context decides, by writing it down and shipping it, not by waiting for a meeting. We ship to live brands continuously and let real usage tell us what is true.

Process

• 2 Two 30-minute calls with Sagar and Will: motivation and technical depth.
• 3 Onsite, mostly with Sagar: a system design task and sometimes a product build, plus time with the team and lunch.

Roughly two weeks end to end.
