We're partnering with a mission‑driven organisation developing insurance solutions that enable the climate transition. Their products reduce the risk of Net Zero transformations worldwide, unlocking climate finance and supporting communities, economies, and sustainability efforts across the globe.

They’re a small but highly experienced team of tech and insurance pioneers, and they’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help shape the future of their platform.

What You’ll Do:

• Play a major part in designing and building the systems that power their carbon insurance products.
• Own and extend their core policy administration system (built on an industry leading, modern, configurable, API‑first platform).
• Build integrations with partners, data providers, and AI‑driven underwriting workflows.
• Lead architectural decisions and evaluate technical tradeoffs.
• Develop data architecture for reporting and analytics.
• Collaborate closely with product, underwriting and customer teams to turn ideas into reality.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Be an expert in Python and Java Coding.
• Have strong experience in backend software development across multiple languages / tech stacks.
• Have experience in early‑stage startups where adapting and learning are part of everyday life.
• Be confident working with a wide range of stakeholders across tech, climate, and insurance.
• Have a genuine interest in climate impact and the growing science of carbon reduction and removal.

Bonus Experience: familiarity with insurance or insurtech.
