The Development team at easyJet Holidays plays a crucial role in differentiating our company by developing our website and all proprietary software. This tight-knit and fast-moving team faces significant pressure but is central to helping the company achieve its ambitious goals.
In this role, you'll support and guide the development and product teams towards better solutions and help them navigate potential issues. You will set standards for the teams and coach them on improved development and project management techniques. Working with business stakeholders, you will help them understand the constraints of our systems and explore new possibilities. Your contributions will be pivotal in delivering world‑class development that shapes the future of the company.
You'll have a proven track record in developing solutions using technologies like .NET, .NET Core, Node.js, and various JavaScript libraries such as React, Angular, and jQuery. Experience with Sitecore and other CMSs, HTML/CSS, source control tools like GIT, and build and CI tools like Team City are also essential. You should be well‑versed in Agile development practices, testing at multiple levels including TDD and BDD, and capable of developing solutions in a high-transaction, high-availability enterprise environment. A solid understanding of the full software development lifecycle and practical use of cloud technologies, specifically AWS, is required.
