Insight Global is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a leading technology client for a long‑term contract. The team is a fast‑moving, innovative group focused on building a cloud‑based security management platform. This product enables policy and configuration management for firewall solutions, with a strong emphasis on scalability for Managed Security Service Providers.

As part of a small, agile team with minimal process overhead, you'll contribute across the full software development lifecycle—from requirements gathering to implementation and testing. You'll help shape the architecture and deliver high‑quality, cloud‑based security features in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Must Haves:

• 7+ years of software engineering experience in Java and Spring Boot
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and working on SaaS products
• Proficiency with AWS and infrastructure automation tools
• Familiarity with automated API documentation tools
• Solid understanding of test‑driven development and automation coverage
• Skilled in scripting languages (Shell, Ruby, Perl, Python, Groovy)
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills

Plusses:
