Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Test to elevate our quality engineering capabilities. You’ll implement scalable test frameworks, embed testing into the development lifecycle, and empower engineers to ship higher-quality software faster.

Ideal candidates have strong Python/TypeScript skills, experience with modern automation tools, and a background in AI-assisted testing and CI/CD integration.

Qualifications

• Experience as Software Engineer in Test (SET), SDET, QA Automation Engineer or similar.
• Proven programming skills in Python and/or TypeScript.
• Experience with modern automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, PyTest, Jest or Selenium.
• Hands-on experience using Generative AI tools to support software development or testing.
• Understanding of prompt engineering and AI-assisted code generation.
• Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of testing strategies across the software development lifecycle.
• Experience mentoring or supporting engineers in quality engineering best practices.

This isn't a traditional QA role. We're looking for someone who sees testing as an engineering discipline, loves automation, and is excited by the potential of AI to transform how software quality is delivered. You'll play a key role in building scalable test frameworks, embedding quality into our development lifecycle, and helping our engineers create better software, faster.

What you'll be doing

• Previous experience as a Software Engineer in Test (SET), SDET, QA Automation Engineer or similar
• Proven programming skills in Python and/or TypeScript
• Experience with modern automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, PyTest, Jest or Selenium
• Hands‑on experience using Generative AI tools to support software development or testing
• A good understanding of prompt engineering and AI‑assisted code generation
• Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
• Strong knowledge of testing strategies across the software development lifecycle
• Experience mentoring or supporting engineers in quality engineering best practices
