Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain product software, web interfaces, and management systems.
• Design, integrate, test, and document new features and products.
• Prototype new functionality and extend core components (e.g. caching, HTTPS interception, device detection).
• Lead product/component design and set engineering standards.
• Shape platform architecture and select third-party components.
• Contribute to open-source projects (Squid, ISC Kea, nginx) and address security issues.
• Drive DevOps practices to speed up delivery.
• Build expertise in networking, caching, and bandwidth optimization.
• Track market/tech trends and support product direction.
• Solve complex technical challenges (e.g. HTTPS caching, reverse-engineering content delivery systems).
