Job summary

Pinewood.AI is expanding its engineering team in the UK to deliver the Automotive Intelligence Platform. We seek a hands-on Senior Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable SaaS solutions using C#, .NET / .NET Core, Razor, Web API, SQL Server, HTML and JavaScript.

You will work with Product Owners, testers and engineers to deliver new features, integrations with third-party systems, and improvements across the full software development lifecycle while upholding high engineering standards.

Qualifications

• Hands-on senior developer with design, development and delivery of enterprise-scale SaaS solutions.
• Strong experience across the full .NET stack and modern frontend integrations.
• Proven ability to deliver secure, scalable systems in Azure and CI/CD environments.
• Experience building integrations with REST APIs and third-party platforms.

Responsibilities

• Pinewood.AI is looking for experienced hands-on Senior Developers to play a key role in our software development teams. Working closely with Lead Developers, Engineering colleagues, Product, testers, and other colleagues across the wider business, you will support the delivery and ongoing development of our Automotive Intelligence Platform
• As a senior member of the team, you will contribute to the design, development, and delivery of high-quality, scalable solutions for the Pinewood Automotive Intelligence Platform, our enterprise-scale SaaS product used by automotive retailers and OEMs worldwide
• Design, develop, and enhance enterprise-level software solutions using C#, .NET / .NET Core, Razor, Web API, SQL Server, HTML, and JavaScript
• Work closely with Product Owners, testers, UI/UX specialists, and Engineering colleagues to deliver new functionality, improvements, and integrations with third-party systems
• Remain hands-on in coding, solution design, and development across the full .NET stack
• Develop and maintain integrations with third-party platforms using APIs and other integration methods
• Support best practices across development, testing, and deployment to ensure scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, development tooling, and engineering practices alongside the wider Engineering team
• Participate in technical discussions and contribute ideas that support product improvement and delivery effectiveness
• Diagnose complex technical issues, including integration challenges, data consistency issues, and performance improvements
• Support knowledge sharing and code quality through peer reviews and collaboration
• Contribute to a collaborative engineering culture focused on clean, efficient code and practical delivery

This role is ideal for a strong, hands-on developer who enjoys building new product features, developing integrations with third-party systems, and working across the full software development lifecycle while supporting high engineering standards within a collaborative team environmentExperience working across the full software development lifecycle, from concept through to production supportStrong understanding of software development practices and agile delivery methodsStrong hands-on expertise in C#, .NET / .NET Core, and SQL / T-SQLProficiency with Visual Studio or VS CodeStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for clean, efficient, and maintainable codeProven experience as a Senior Developer within a SaaS or enterprise software environmentPractical experience working with Azure Cloud Services and Azure DevOps, or equivalent CI/CD toolingExperience building and supporting integrations with third-party systems using REST APIs or similar technologiesExperience delivering front-end functionality using HTML, JavaScript, and RazorSolid understanding of database design, performance optimisation, and query tuningExperience in enterprise SaaS industries, or with complex, high-availability platforms, would be beneficial
