Job summary

Echobox in London (Notting Hill) seeks a backend developer to work with Product and Data Science teams to deliver AI-powered publishing tools. You will design, build, and maintain scalable server-side services using Python, Java, or Node.js and RESTful APIs.

Qualifications

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 3-5 years of experience in back-end development or related field, with a focus on server-side technologies.
• Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js, and experience with back-end frameworks.
• Familiarity with databases (SQL and NoSQL) and experience in building and optimizing data storage solutions.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and best practices for back-end development.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and deploying applications in a cloud environment.
• A passion for solving problems with technology and working to deliver efficient, scalable solutions.
• A proactive, results-driven mindset with the ability to work independently and learn quickly.

Responsibilities

About the Role:
