Job summary

SYSTRA UK & Ireland is looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join their Systems Engineering and Assurance discipline in Reading. This role involves providing software technical support across multiple Railway projects while ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Computer Science or a related field, and demonstrate strong knowledge in software lifecycle management and various engineering principles.

The position is critical for supporting technical activities and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

Proven ability to manage software development lifecycle.
Experience in planning and executing software projects.
Knowledge of software testing and validation principles.

Responsibilities

Provide software technical support across various Railway projects.
Support technical activities from planning to validation phases.
Conduct independent software assurance activities including reviews.
