Job summary

Senior Social Worker in Lewisham is sought to join the Multi-Agency Child Protection Team. You will manage a complex caseload including Child Protection, Child in Need, and care proceedings, delivering safeguarding assessments and timely interventions.

Qualifications

• Degree or Master’s Degree in Social Work or equivalent.
• ASYE completed.
• CPD related to safeguarding practice.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex child protection caseload incl. PLO and care proceedings.
• Lead Strategy Discussions and multi-agency safeguarding meetings.
• Collaborate with Family Help for assessments and safety planning.
• Provide safeguarding advice and quality assurance to colleagues.
