Role

Make a real impact in adult mental health care. We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Social Worker to join the Richmond Mental Health Social Care Team. This is an exciting opportunity to support and shape high-quality mental health services for adults with enduring mental health needs and their carers.

Responsibilities

• Support the Team Manager and Assistant Team Manager in the delivery of person-centred, strengths-based social care services. Supervise a small team of Social Workers and Social Care Assessors, offering guidance, reflective supervision, and oversight. Act as the Safeguarding Adult Manager (SAM) for Section 42 enquiries, ensuring robust safeguarding practice. Carry a complex caseload of up to 15 cases, maintaining high standards of professional practice. Take a lead role in duty management as part of a rota, providing leadership and oversight of front-line responses.
