Job summary

Yorkshire Collaboration is seeking a Senior Social Worker for the Integrated Front Door in Barnsley. The role involves working at pace within a MASH environment, undertaking high-quality risk assessments and safety planning to ensure appropriate support for children and families.

Hybrid working is in place with 3 days in the office and 2 days at home. Applicants should have HCPC registration and a social work degree, with experience in front-door services and an understanding of thresholds and

Qualifications

• Experience in MASH/Screening or front-door social work.
• Experience with risk assessments and safety planning.
• Understanding thresholds and analysis from multiple sources.

Responsibilities

• Work in partnership with children, young people and families to elicit needs and promote participation in decisions.
• Undertake assessments in line with statutory standards and policies.
• Plan, implement and review interventions for children, young people and families.
• Manage a complex workload and seek advice from colleagues as needed.
• Utilise supervision for practice development and professional reviews.
• Maintain accurate records in line with policies and procedures.
• Engage with organisations to identify needs and promote positive change.
• Mentor and model good practice within the team.
