  • Conduct Initial Assessments to determine the needs of children and families.
  • Initiate Care Proceedings and bring cases to initial case conferences.
  • Carry out assessments under the single assessment framework and create Care Plans.
  • Complete risk assessments and write comprehensive reports for child protection case conferences.
  • Attend and participate in case conferences, providing insightful contributions.
  • Draft Section 17 reports for family courts and write initial court statements.
  • Apply for emergency care orders when necessary and attend court sessions.
  • Conduct home visits to monitor and safeguard children, ensuring their wellbeing.
  • Chair meetings and collaborate with other professionals to provide the best outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Registration with Social Work England is essential.
  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Social Work is required.
  • Current or recent experience as a Senior Social Worker or Social Worker within the UK is necessary.
