A social services provider is looking for an experienced Senior Social Worker to join their Children with Disabilities team in Kingston. This vital position entails managing a caseload, conducting assessments, and collaborating with multiple agencies to deliver support services. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience, hold a valid Social Work qualification, and be ready for an immediate start. This role requires presence in the office three days a week.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience in direct employment within an English local authority.
  • Preferably with experience in Children with Disabilities.
  • SWE registered and holds a recognised Social Work qualification.
  • Fully compliant and ready for immediate start.

Neway is looking for a Senior Social Worker to join the Children with Disabilities team based with our client 'Achieving for Children'.

Location: Moor Lane, KT9 (Kingston & Richmond)
Contract Duration: 20 October 2025 – 16 January 2026
Hours: 36 per week (Mon–Fri, 09:00–17:15)

Pay Rates:

  • PAYE: £29.70/hr
  • Umbrella/Ltd: £39.04/hr
About the Role

Achieving for Children is seeking a committed and experienced Senior Social Worker to join their Children with Disabilities team based in Moor Lane, KT9. This locum post is vital to supporting children and families while a permanent recruitment process is underway.

You’ll be working with children who have complex needs, helping to deliver high-quality, person-centred support and safeguarding services. The role requires a strong understanding of disability-related social work and a proactive approach to care planning and multi-agency collaboration.
