As a Senior Social Worker within our Children with Disabilities Service, you will play a key role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people with disabilities. Alongside managing a complex caseload, you will provide professional guidance and support to colleagues, model high-quality practice, and contribute to the ongoing development of the service.
You will work closely with children, families, carers and partner agencies to complete assessments, develop robust plans, manage risk and deliver effective interventions that improve outcomes. Our services are joined-up and child-centred, and you will develop strong partnerships with health services, education providers, police, voluntary organisations and other professionals to ensure children receive the right support at the right time.
The Children with Disabilities Service works with children and young people who have permanent disabilities that significantly impact on their day-to-day lives. We are a through service, meaning we stay with children and families throughout their journey with social care, completing assessments and providing ongoing support through Child in Need, Child Protection and Children in Care processes where required.

The team is based at One Avenue Road, Aston, with ample free parking available at the rear of the office.
