Senior Social Worker – Assessment & Intervention Team

Senior Social Worker within Assessment and Intervention Team – London Borough of Ealing (UK) – £39.04 Hourly.

This role is ongoing, initially for 3 months, offering full-time opportunities at 35 hours per week. This is an exciting chance to put your skills into action and make a real difference in the community. As part of the dynamic Assessment and Intervention Team, you’ll play a key role in supporting families and children, with a current caseload of an average of 16 children across approximately 9 families.

What you will do:
  • Conduct complex assessments and interventions for children and families, ensuring high standards of practice.
  • Manage an average caseload of 16 children or approximately 9 families, addressing diverse needs and risks.
  • Participate in duty weeks at the office every fifth week and ensure a presence on Thursdays to provide essential in-office support.
  • Collaborate with a fast-paced team, applying your previous Assessment Team experience to manage high-risk cases efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate case records and documentation to support Social Work England registration requirements.

As a Senior Social Worker, you must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a permanent contract and be fully qualified and registered with Social Work England. Your ability to excel in a dynamic team and manage high-risk situations is essential.
