Job summary

A leading cybersecurity provider is looking for a Senior Cyber Security Analyst to monitor and respond to security incidents across various platforms. The role requires proficiency in security tools like SIEM and strong analytical abilities. Ideal candidates will have several years of experience in a SOC or similar role, alongside relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or GIAC. Hybrid working is available, and DV security clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in a Security Operations Centre (SOC) or a similar security role.
• Strong understanding of security operations and incident response.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively respond to security incidents.

Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor security alerts and incidents using various security tools.
• Lead and coordinate incident response efforts.
• Gather and analyse threat intelligence to identify vulnerabilities.
• Manage SOC infrastructure, including SIEM and IDS.
• Prepare detailed reports on security incidents for management.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and conduct regular assessments.
