Job summary

Nomios UK&I is seeking a Senior SOC Engineer to lead design, deployment, and continuous improvement of our SOC stack, including SIEM, XDR, SOAR, and automation.

You will mentor engineers, build and refine playbooks, on-board customers, and drive proactive threat detection across diverse environments from our Basingstoke office.

This role offers hands-on impact, a collaborative culture, and opportunities to advance security operations within a leading MSSP.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering SOC automation
• Deep knowledge of SIEM/XDR platforms
• Strong scripting and automation capabilities
• On-call and incident response experience

Responsibilities

• Lead design and deployment of SOC technologies (SIEM/XDR/SOAR)
• Mentor SOC engineers and analysts
• Develop and maintain log parsing and data normalization
• Create and improve playbooks and automation
• Onboard customers and coordinate with SOC Operations
