Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in cybersecurity operations, including threat detection, incident response, or vulnerability management.
• Proficiency in log analysis, network trace analysis, and security investigations in response to incidents.
• Scripting for automation and data manipulation.
• Understanding of security protocols, cryptography, and security architecture design principles.
• Hands-on with SIEM, IDS, EDR, malware analysis tools, and email security solutions.
• Knowledge of adversary tactics and cloud security basics.
• Strong communication to convey risks to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze security infrastructure; detect and respond to threats and incidents.
• Conduct in-depth security investigations, including log and network trace analysis.
• Triage alerts and own end-to-end investigations and incident response.
• Create and maintain incident response process documentation.
• Develop threat detection and response playbooks aligned with best practices.
• Collaborate to implement security strategies and educate staff.
• Provide intelligence reports to acquisitions and maintain communications.
• Engage with acquisitions to assess cybersecurity posture and uplift opportunities.
• Support weekend rotation and comply with in-office attendance policies.
• Own issues affecting acquisitions and push uplift actions to completion.
• Serve as escalation point for team analysts.
