Job summary

Interface Recruitment is partnering with a leading technology and cybersecurity provider to recruit a Cyber Security Analyst for a 24/7 SOC in Leeds. The role offers exposure to modern security tooling and a hybrid working pattern.

You will investigate incidents, perform threat hunting, and contribute to detection engineering within a regulated environment. The successful candidate will have experience in SOC operations, familiarity with Microsoft Sentinel and KQL, and a track record of

Qualifications

• Experience in SOC operations and security monitoring.
• Proficiency with threat hunting and detection engineering.
• Knowledge of security governance frameworks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and investigate security events across endpoints, cloud, identity and network environments.
• Manage security incidents through the full incident lifecycle.
• Perform detailed investigations and root cause analysis of incidents.
• Conduct threat hunting and proactive security investigations.
• Query and analyse data within Microsoft Sentinel using KQL.
• Work with Microsoft Defender XDR technologies and validate indicators of compromise.
• Coordinate containment and remediation with technical teams.
• Support vulnerability management and security posture improvements.
• Produce incident reports and recommendations for stakeholders.
