Job summary

Corpay is hiring a Senior Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst to monitor, detect, investigate, and respond to cybersecurity threats in a fast-paced environment across London, Swindon or Walsall. You will lead high-severity incidents, support escalation workflows, and help mature the SOC with AI-enabled security tools.

The role requires strong critical-thinking, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and mentoring junior analysts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC, incident response, and IT environments.
• Strong understanding of emerging threats, including adversary use of AI.
• Experience with SOAR, SIEM, threat intelligence platforms, identity systems, sandboxes, vulnerability management, and EDR/XDR tools.
• Broad understanding of endpoints, applications, networks, cloud environments, and monitoring technologies.
• Ability to perform advanced security investigations and make decisions during complex incidents.
• Excellent communication skills across organisation levels.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for 24/7/365 security monitoring and response operations.
• Monitor, investigate, and respond to cybersecurity incidents, including on-call rotations.
• Escalation point for SOC operations and lead high-severity incidents.
• Analyse, triage, and resolve complex investigations using multiple data sources.
• Correlate security alerts, run advanced queries, apply anomaly-detection techniques.
• Leverage AI-enabled tools to automate tasks and improve detection/response.
• Identify opportunities to automate SOC processes and improve efficiency.
• Advise on AI solutions to enhance team capabilities and knowledge.
• Stay current with evolving threats and AI developments.
• Refine playbooks, policies, and guidelines with industry best practices.
