Job summary

Starling Bank in the UK is seeking a SOC Analyst to join our cyber security function. You will support 24/7 operations, handling incident triage, response and investigations across cloud and on-prem environments in a fast-paced fintech setting.

You will collaborate with seasoned SecOps professionals, develop analytic triggers, document incidents, and contribute to threat hunting and readiness programs while embracing our values.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in-house SOC experience.
• Experience with AWS or GCP.
• Incident response on cloud systems.
• Experience with SIEM analytics.
• CSIRT/SOC experience.
• Tabletop exercises and incident command experience.

Responsibilities

• Triage, respond, and investigate security alerts.
• Develop analytic triggers to improve alert efficacy.
• Document incidents and investigations.
• Proactive threat hunting using threat intelligence.
• Maintain and improve incident handling processes.
