Job description

We have the capability to deliver major surfacing and public realm infrastructure projects. Our specialist in-house traffic management division provides expert advice and support across the industry, whilst assisting with our own, in-house contracts.

We have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Civils Supervisor on our Highways Term Maintenance Contract in Luton.

Lead and coordinate both in-house and subcontract teams to ensure projects meet operational, financial, and deadline goals. You'll ensure all work aligns with contract requirements and is carried out in full compliance with legal and safety standards.

About you

The overall purpose is to supervise, lead and coordinate teams, including direct staff and subcontractors, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and manage reactive and planned works.
  • Supervise teams, providing support and coaching.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and company procedures.
  • Monitor budgets, stock levels, and quality standards.
  • Liaise with clients and colleagues to maintain strong working relationships.
  • Oversee depot operations and security of vehicles, plant, and materials.
  • Complete site inspections (HSE-07) and maintain accurate records.
  • Participate in out-of-hours emergency and winter services as required.
