Salary: £70,929 – £78,810 (outside London); £81,999 - £91,110 (London only)
Locations: Leeds, Birmingham, Bristol, or London
Hours: Full-time
Working Pattern: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites
About this opportunity
We’re looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our Segments & Propositions (S&P) Platform. This platform delivers a unified digital servicing proposition for personal customers, offering the best digital customer experience to increase engagement and options for self-service. You’ll be part of a collaborative team embedded across five labs, with monthly platform-wide show & tell sessions.
The ideal candidate will feel at ease taking on the role of a fully hands-on DevOps/SRE with a broad understanding of application ecosystems. They will come from a software engineering or scripting skill background and have moved into SRE/DevOps. They will apply their SRE mentality (SLI, SLO & SLA) using Observability, Logging, Monitoring & Alerting (Dynatrace) to lead a small team. The Senior SRE will actively engage in mentoring, coaching, and developing peers across the teams in the lab to advance their technical skills.
