Job summary

Pathfinder Recruitment is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer for a major financial services organisation in the UK. You will be hands-on with Azure, Kubernetes and Terraform, owning reliability, scaling deployments and rapid recovery from incidents.

You will work with engineering and delivery teams to tackle problems, improve monitoring and automate releases. The role emphasizes guiding colleagues and representing SRE across the wider business.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Azure, Kubernetes and Terraform experience.
• A Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) background with responsibility for running live services.
• Experience with microservices, containers and API management.
• Full stack monitoring and observability experience.
• Experience with DevOps, pipelines, releases and automation.
• Experience in a large organisation with established processes.
• Confidence working with stakeholders, leading improvements and supporting colleagues.

Job description

Up to £90,000 plus 10% cash allowance, 10% non contributory pension and discretionary bonus

We’re looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer with hands on Azure, Kubernetes and Terraform experience to join a major financial services organisation. Taking a "build it, own it, run it" approach, you’ll be accountable for service health and help improve how systems perform, scale and recover. As the team's Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you’ll also represent SRE across the wider business, working with engineering and delivery colleagues to establish reliable ways of working.
