SALARY: £70,929 - £78,810 (outside London); £81,999 - £91,110 (London only)
LOCATIONS: Leeds, Birmingham, Bristol, or London
HOURS: Full-time
WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites
We're looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our Segments & Propositions (S&P) Platform. This platform delivers a unified digital servicing proposition for personal customers, offering the best digital customer experience to increase engagement and options for self-service. You'll be part of a collaborative team embedded across five labs, with monthly platform-wide show & tell sessions.
The ideal candidate will feel at ease taking on the role of a fully hands-on DevOps/SRE with a broad understanding of application ecosystems. They will come from a software engineering or scripting skill background and have moved into SRE/DevOps. They will apply their SRE mentality (SLI, SLO & SLA) using Observability, Logging, Monitoring & Alerting (Dynatrace) to lead a small team. The Senior SRE will actively engage in mentoring, coaching, and developing peers across the teams in the lab to advance their technical skills. In addition to lead incident post-mortems, the Senior SRE will investigate, fix and remove service issues with an engineering mindset. They will identify ways in which to improve observability continuously while maintaining, supporting & improving Lloyds Banking Group's cloud infrastructure in a specific technical area.
