Job summary

AMETEK MRO's Ramsgate facility seeks an experienced Operations Manager to own site operations in a regulated aerospace MRO environment. You will lead operational delivery, financial performance, people leadership and continuous improvement with a focus on safety and quality.

Reporting to the Site Lead, you will drive strategy execution while guiding high-performing teams to achieve targets in production planning, scheduling and cost control across the site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years' experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• At least 3 years in a senior operational leadership role with delivery accountability.
• Highly developed planning, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Strong analytical capability with fast-paced operations.
• High digital competence including Microsoft 365, ERP systems, Power BI and approved AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead site operations to meet sales, safety, quality and on-time delivery targets.
• Drive production planning and scheduling for efficiency and throughput.
• Manage data-driven decision making using KPIs and dashboards.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with Engineering, QEHS, Stores & Logistics, and Customer Support.
