Job summary

RTL Group Ltd in Liverpool is seeking an experienced Senior Groundworks Site Manager to oversee groundworks operations on a major construction project. You will lead site teams, subcontractors and groundworks packages to deliver works safely, on programme and to high quality standards.

The role requires strong leadership, planning and communication, with proven experience on large-scale developments, a valid CSCS card and an SMSTS certificate.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Groundworks Site Manager on large-scale construction or residential developments.
• Strong technical knowledge of groundworks, drainage and infrastructure packages.
• SMSTS certificate - essential.
• Valid CSCS card.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all groundworks operations on site.
• Manage site managers, supervisors, subcontractors and labour teams.
• Take ownership of programme delivery, productivity and site progress.
• Oversee foundations, drainage, roads and sewers, infrastructure and external works.
• Coordinate plant, labour, materials and subcontractor resources.
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety, quality assurance and environmental compliance.
• Liaise with the project management team, engineers and client representatives.
• Identify and resolve site issues, ensuring deadlines and project milestones are achieved.
