Qualifications

• Hold a Valid CSCS Card.
• Valid SMSTS certificate required.
• Full UK Driving License necessary.
• Good understanding of NHBC standards expected.
• Good Customer Satisfaction scores needed.
• Extensive experience as a Site Manager with a House Builder required.
• Ability to chair and run Sub Contractor meetings is essential.
• Proven track record of motivating staff and managing a site effectively.
• Up to date knowledge of health and safety obligations and building legislation is mandatory.
• Able to work with a high degree of accuracy is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with health and safety and environmental policies.
• Prepare and revise the master build programme with the Head of Construction.
• Monitor progress of the build programme to meet construction methods and timescales.
• Agree and manage staffing, equipment, and subcontractor requirements.
• Respond to queries from trades.
• Monitor the performance of direct reports.

Job description

I am representing one of the most recognised House Builders in the UK. Due to continued expansion plans across their southern region, they are looking for a proven Senior Site Manager in central Essex.

All 278 works and infrastructure for the site in complete, and the site will consist of 100 Traditional Build houses and flats.

Reporting into the Contracts Manager, you will manage 2 x Assistant Site Managers, 1 x Finishing Foreman, and a 2 x forklift driver and gateman.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with the Company s health and safety and environmental policies and procedures.
• In conjunction with the Head of Construction prepare the master build programme and review and revise in line with budget requirements.
• Monitor progress of the build programme to ensure construction methods and timescales are met and take corrective action to bring progress back in line with programme.
• Agree and manage the equipment, plant, staffing and sub-contract requirements for the site.
• Respond to all queries from trades and action accordingly.
• Monitor the performance and effectiveness of direct reports.

On offer is a basic salary of £70,000 - £75,000 plus car /allowance, pension, healthcare, 25 days annual leave, 20% bonus and other company benefits.
