Senior Site Manager

Location: Boston

Salary: 300 per day CIS

A well established building contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to take full responsibility for the refurbishment and extension of a leisure facility. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a high‑profile project, delivering exceptional quality while managing a dynamic site team. The project will run for a minimum of 10 months.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage all on‑site activities, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and operatives, maintaining a productive and collaborative site culture.
  • Monitor progress and maintain accurate site records and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental policies.
  • Collaborate with project managers, designers, and clients to resolve issues and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Oversee the integration of refurbishment works with new build extensions.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Number 1 Site Manager on projects from 5m to 10m.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, contract administration, and health & safety regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to solve complex site challenges.
  • Outstanding communication and organisational abilities.
  • Relevant construction qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 6, HNC/HND) and CSCS/SMSTS certification.
