The Senior Site Manager Role

As a Senior Site Manager with Raise Projects, you’ll take full responsibility for the on-site delivery of high-quality projects up to around £5 million in value.

You’ll lead from the front - ensuring exceptional standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction - while managing all aspects of project delivery from pre-start to handover. Working autonomously, you’ll have the authority to run your site your way, supported by a responsive and professional head-office team.

Key responsibilities
  • Overseeing all day-to-day site operations and project delivery
  • Managing subcontractors, site teams, and suppliers to ensure efficient progress
  • Upholding the highest standards of health, safety, and quality compliance
  • Coordinating with clients, design teams, and stakeholders to maintain positive relationships
  • Monitoring programme performance and ensuring delivery to budget and schedule
  • Preparing site reports, maintaining records, and supporting project reviews

This is a role for a proactive, experienced manager who takes ownership and pride in delivering exceptional results.

Required Qualifications & Experience

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager within main contracting or construction management
  • A strong track record of delivering projects up to c. £5m in value
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • A meticulous approach to health, safety, and quality
  • The ability to work autonomously while maintaining client and team relationships
  • Relevant construction qualifications (SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid, etc.)
