This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Site Engineer to step into a leadership role on a high‑spec residential development in Co. Louth. With an 18-month project duration, you’ll join a well‑structured team delivering a project featuring a mix of RC structures, groundworks, and quality housing.

Ideal for someone living in Louth or surrounding counties, this position offers long‑term, local work with no need to travel across the country or stay away from home. You’ll be joining an established main contractor with a strong reputation for excellence in delivery and team development.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily activities of subcontractors across multiple trades.
• Support and guide Junior Engineers in their daily duties, ensuring accurate surveying, setting out, and quality control.
• Assist the Site Manager and Project Manager in monitoring progress against the programme, identifying delays or risks early, and helping to re‑sequence works to maintain deadlines.
• Liaise with design teams, utility providers, and client representatives to resolve design queries, coordinate service connections, and ensure smooth handovers.

Requirements

• 5+ years' experience in a Site Engineer/Senior Engineer role with an Irish Main Contractor or Developer.
• Strong setting out skills using GPS and Total Station.
• Confident managing subcontractors and Junior Engineers.
• Experience with RC structures, groundworks, and housing developments.

Package

Salary will be DOE, but you can expect around €75,000 + Vehicle + Fuel.
