Job summary

Fawkes & Reece London seeks an experienced Senior Site Engineer to join the regional office on a 120m education project in Southampton, Hampshire. The role focuses on external works, drainage and landscaping, with handover planned for summer 2027.

You will lead setting out, QA, and coordination of Temporary Works, liaising with consulting engineers and senior site staff until project completion. 5–10 years in a Tier 1 environment are preferred, with a Civil Engineering degree.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering.
• 5–10 years of experience as Graduate/Site/Senior Engineer in a Tier 1 main contractor.
• Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Set out and check sub-contractor setting out and completed works.
• Coordinate and inspect Temporary Works and ensure QA standards.
• Propose resolutions to technical issues and raise TQs.
• Liaise with consulting engineers and Senior Project Manager.
