Job summary

Invision Group seeks a Senior Site Engineer for Midlands-based industrial and logistics projects. The role focuses on setting out, QA, and field supervision, reporting to the Project Manager.

You will oversee coordination with PMs and design teams, perform QA and testing, and contribute to achieving project milestones on site in a busy contractor environment.

• Experience in site setting out and QA processes.
• Concrete testing and groundworks experience (drainage, piling).
• Ability to read drawings and provide dig levels for excavation.

Senior Site Engineer – Midlands

Tier 1 Contractor – Up to £65,000 + Full Package

My Client is a multidisciplinary main contractor that excels in the delivery of construction projects on a national scale. They are privately owned and this year will turn over in excess of £900 million for a growing list of blue‑chip clients. They are widely known as the UK’s leading Industrial and Logistics specialist, delivering millions of square feet every year for the Industrial sector.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Engineer to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and managing infrastructure projects. We are looking for experienced Site Engineers to work within an hour's commute who is actively out in the field, responsible for managing the setting out, being heavily involved in QA, concrete testing and giving dig levels for excavation on ground works such as drainage and piling, reporting directly into the Project Manager.

Key Duties

• As‑build survey/QA.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineers.
• Inspection and test plan.
• Procurement of packages.
• Method statement appraisals.
