Graphcore seeks silicon physical design engineers to join a collaborative team focused on next‑generation AI superchips. You will contribute to robust, high‑performance, power‑efficient designs using leading‑edge process nodes.

Ideal candidates will have an engineering degree, strong problem‑solving skills, and scripting ability in Tcl/Python. The role emphasizes ownership, learning, and working across RTL, verification, DFT, and architecture teams.

Qualifications

• A Degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related subject.
• Be highly motivated, a self-starter, and a team player.
• Excellent problem-solving skills for debugging issues and root causes.
• Ability to program/script (Tcl and Python).
• Experience in 7nm or smaller technologies.
• Broad experience with physical design flows including: Floorplanning, Synthesis, Place and Route, Clock CTS, Timing Analysis, Logical Equivalence, Physical Verification (DRC/LVS/ERC).

Responsibilities

• Contribute technically to Graphcore's next generation of AI superchips.
• Deliver robust, high‑performance and power‑efficient designs.
• Work with teams to improve flows and tools; debug complex issues.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure sign‑off quality.
