Zusammenfassung

Acorn by Synergie is seeking a Senior Project Estimator to support the Project Management and Sales teams by delivering accurate estimates, quotations and pricing while ensuring excellent customer service. This role suits an experienced Estimator, Construction Estimator, Shopfitting Estimator or Project Estimator looking to join a growing business.

The position offers hybrid working (2 days from home), an annual bonus and clear career progression.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of 5 GCSEs (A-C) including English and Maths.
• At least 2 years' experience in shopfitting, construction or a similar industry.
• Experience in estimating, sales support or customer service.
• Experience in a joinery company would be advantageous.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and ability to read technical drawings.

Aufgaben

• Act as the main contact for project managers, sales teams and site teams regarding pricing and estimating.
• Prepare accurate quotations and cost estimates for customer enquiries.
• Liaise with internal departments to ensure quotations are completed within timescales.
• Produce Bills of Materials from drawings and Excel spreadsheets.
• Call off equipment from technical drawings.
• Discuss quotations and final accounts with clients and QS, providing additional information as required.
• Maintain and update customer schedules of rates and pricing information.
• Prepare and issue final accounts accurately and on time.
• Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to achieve best value within budget.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety requirements and company procedures.
