Job summary

United Infrastructure seeks an experienced SHEQ Manager to lead the project safety, health, environment and quality function on major infrastructure works in the UK. You will translate Zero Harm commitments into rigorous control measures and drive continuous improvement across the project team.

You will develop and maintain the project SHEQ plan, review RAMS and permits, and lead investigations into incidents, close calls and non-conformities, ensuring timely action and stakeholder reporting.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Chartered IOSH status or progress toward chartered status.
• Experience leading SHEQ on major construction, utilities, power transmission or high‑voltage projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project SHEQ function and provide independent assurance.
• Maintain the project SHEQ plan, RAMS and permit/compliance arrangements.
• Lead SHEQ meetings, escalation of material risk, and assurance activities.
