Job summary

Best Food Logistics is seeking a SHEQ Manager to ensure depot compliance with health, safety, environmental and food standards, and to lead internal and external audits. You will guide depot leadership, deliver training, and drive continuous improvement across risk and compliance areas.

A strong background in safety legislation, NEBOSH or equivalent qualifications, and experience in food distribution are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and influencing skills are essential.
• Hands-on approach to identifying pragmatic, business-focused solutions to non-compliance.
• Experience in fast-moving distribution environments is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Safety, Health, Environmental and quality systems as documented.
• Ensure depot complies with Health, Safety & Environment and Food Standards policies.
• Brief depot teams on updated ways of working, standards and risk assessments.
• Oversee audits and address non-compliance in a proactive manner.
• Deliver training and induction on SHEQ standards to management and staff.
