In this role, youll provide expert guidance and support to ensure the business remains compliant with our SHEQ management systems and all relevant legislative obligations. Youll coach and mentor employees on how to effectively use these systems, while actively monitoring their implementation through audits and inspections. By constructively challenging the effectiveness of risk controls, youll help drive continuous improvement and strengthen our safety culture. Youll also play a key role in supporting the Divisional Head of SHEQ, contributing to our shared goal of achieving health and safety excellence across the organisation.
You're a qualified SHEQ professional with experience in utilities, infrastructure, or construction, holding a NEBOSH Certificate and actively working toward or already holding the NEBOSH Diploma. With IOSH membership (Tech IOSH or above), you bring practical knowledge of SHEQ legislation, systems, and risk management, and have a strong background in project safety planning, compliance assessments, and reviewing RAMS. Confident in coaching and influencing stakeholders at all levels, you're a clear communicator with solid IT skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a collaborative team.
