A reputable civil engineering firm is seeking a Site/Setting Out Engineer in Dartford. Candidates should possess at least an HNC qualification or relevant experience, with skills in using surveying equipment and construction drawings. The position offers working hours from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday, adapting to site requirements.

Qualifications

• At least HNC qualification preferred, with relevant experience equally valid.
• Familiarity with construction drawings and surveying equipment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health and safety on site.
• Conduct pre-start OGL surveys and maintain setting out data.
• Supervise junior engineers and ensure proper equipment use.
• Record as-built information and assist Project Manager.

Skills

Able to read and understand construction drawings

Capable of using Total Station Survey and GNSS equipment

IT literate

Relevant engineering software (AutoCAD)

Education

HNC qualification or equivalent experience
