Job summary

A leading support organization in the UK is seeking an experienced Senior Service Manager to oversee Safe House accommodation for survivors of modern slavery. You will manage staff and ensure quality assurance measures are in place. Applicants should have experience working with vulnerable adults and hold a relevant diploma. This role includes responsibilities on evenings and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

  • Valid driving licence and own vehicle available for business purposes.

About Us

Medaille Trust is one of the leading providers of support to survivors of modern slavery and human trafficking in the UK. We run ten safe houses and five outreach hubs, staffed round the clock by specialist staff, working with more than 600 men, women and dependent children each year. Our work includes raising awareness, providing preventive measures in source countries and supporting survivors to engage with the legal system to secure convictions against their perpetrators.

About the Job

We are seeking a confident and experienced Senior Service Manager with a wide range of skills and a ‘can do’ approach. The Senior Service Manager will oversee Safe House accommodation across three potential services for survivors of modern slavery and their potential dependents.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise the production of support plans, updating records accurately and reporting key changes.
  • Prepare clients for exit, repatriation and other resettlement plans.
  • Work with the Safehouse Project Manager to ensure all quality assurance measures are in place, such as CQC, QMF, safeguarding audits and internal audits.
  • Manage staff, carry out line‑management supervision and oversee team performance.
  • Work Monday to Friday with evening and weekend shifts as required, including on‑call rota duties.
Qualifications
  • Experience working with vulnerable adults in a risk‑associated environment.
  • Diploma in Management / Health and Social Care (Adults) or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong administration, IT skills and health and safety awareness.
  • Valid driving licence and own vehicle available for business purposes.
