Job summary

BBC Studios is seeking a Senior Series Developer to guide commercial strategy and drive the growth of BBC StoryWorks’ branded content series. You will connect commercial, creative and strategic priorities, shaping the future pipeline and championing the Series Development team.

You will lead on identifying opportunities, engaging with senior clients and stakeholders, and growing partnerships that deliver high-impact storytelling for global audiences.

Qualifications

Proven ability to identify and convert growth opportunities.
Experience in developing commercially viable content strategies.
Ability to manage multiple complex projects with strategic alignment.
Strong written and verbal communication for high-level client discussions.
Experience mentoring and developing team members.

Responsibilities

Leads creation of insight-driven, commercially viable content proposals and go-to-market strategies.
Positions the team as a trusted authority on audience behavior and content trends.
Identifies and nurtures strategic partnerships to drive repeat business.
