Job summary

LuxExperience is seeking a Senior SEO Migration Specialist to join our SEO team in London on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Working with leadership and engineering, you will deliver a major CMS migration across NET-A-PORTER and MR PORTER, protecting organic visibility through large-scale redirects and validation.

The role is hybrid (37.5 hours/week: 4 days in office, 1 remote) with benefits including pension contributions, staff discounts, private healthcare, and flexible working.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Technical SEO experience in enterprise migrations.
• Experience with large-scale redirect mapping and international e-commerce SEO.
• Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets; SQL experience advantageous.
• Knowledge of rendering, canonicalisation, hreflang and Core Web Vitals.
• Ability to write clear Jira tickets and technical specifications for development teams.
• Experience with Python, AI automation, headless CMS or related platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage large-scale 301 redirect mapping across hundreds of thousands of URLs and international storefronts.
• Define and validate technical SEO requirements including canonical tags, hreflang, XML sitemaps, robots.txt and structured data.
• Write developer-ready Jira tickets and technical specifications for engineering teams.
• Conduct staging audits and technical QA using Screaming Frog and enterprise crawling tools.
• Support migration launch and post-launch monitoring of redirects, crawl errors and indexation.
• Analyze large URL datasets using Excel/Sheets/SQL to validate mappings and identify issues.
• Identify opportunities to automate SEO workflows using Python, AI tools to improve efficiency and accuracy.
