The Witherslack Group is seeking an Assistant Head Teacher for Castlefell School in Gloucestershire. You will work with the Head Teacher to shape the school's vision, lead teaching teams and ensure the best outcomes for pupils aged 8 to 16 with SEND.

You'll hold Qualified Teacher Status, bring proven leadership and coaching skills, and demonstrate a strong commitment to inclusive education. Salary ranges £59,137–£65,278 with excellent benefits.

Qualifications

• You’ll need previous teaching experience and have Qualified Teacher Status.
• You’ll also need leadership and management experience.
• Your drive to raise the quality of teaching and learning.
• Your understanding of what good behaviours for learning look like.
• Your effective leadership and coaching skills.
• Your knowledge of how best to use your interpersonal skills to develop a strong staff team.
