Job summary

Class Education is seeking SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils with ASD, ADHD, Autism, and general learning needs in classroom settings. Roles are available part-time, full-time, or ad hoc supply days, with a friendly, reflective team environment and opportunities to develop children’s learning and life chances.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with Special Educational Needs would be an advantage, though not essential.
• Be patient and calm, with a consistent and positive approach to managing pupils' behaviour.
• Enthusiastic team player with a positive outlook to help pupils reach their full potential.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils in classroom-based SEN settings.
• Assist learning through play and targeted activities.
• Aid teachers with managing behaviour and safeguarding within the classroom.
• Adapt to part-time, full-time or ad hoc supply assignments as needed.
