Job summary

Frazer-Nash Consultancy is seeking a Seismic Qualification Engineer to lead and deliver complex seismic analyses across built-environment projects in the UK. You will work across multiple sectors, collaborating with clients and internal teams to ensure robust substantiations and compliant design solutions.

The role offers hybrid working with time split between office, client sites and home, and a clear path toward SQUG accreditation.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent is required.
• Chartership or active progression towards chartered status is preferred.
• Experience in seismic analysis within safety-critical infrastructure is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and shape projects from scoping to delivery.
• Engage with clients to define project needs and opportunities.
• Develop the team’s capability and mentor junior engineers.
• Drive opportunities and workstreams within your specialist area.
• Support SQUG accreditation processes and seismic characterisation activities.
