Job summary

DWP Digital is seeking an experienced Security and Fraud Risk Manager to help shape public services that are secure by design, resilient to fraud and error, and trusted by the people who rely on them. The role requires passing Security Check and offers hybrid working with flexible hours.

You will advise on risk, security controls and policy adherence across Universal Credit and Working Age Services, collaborating with senior teams to protect public money and public trust.

Qualifications

• CISSP, CISM, GRCP or equivalent security qualification required.
• Experience identifying, assessing and responding to security risks.
• Knowledge of Nexus, Non-Repudiation and PACE is required.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and translate business needs into security solutions.
• Experience with Agile delivery and digital teams.

Responsibilities

• Advise on fraud, security risk and error strategies for services.
• Assess risks, identify vulnerabilities and recommend controls.
• Collaborate with digital delivery teams to embed secure design.
• Explain options to balance service delivery with security controls.
• Support CRISC qualification pathway if needed.
