Job summary

CFC is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to act as a hands-on SME in security and privacy, guiding teams through complex issues and improving governance, management and operations. You will implement and verify automated controls in detection, IAM, data protection, product security, and control assurance.

The role covers designing security standards, threat modelling, and running incident exercises while maturing security workflows within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in security operations, threat detection and response.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD, cloud-native architecture and IaC.
• Experience leading threat modelling and security design trade-offs.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and refine detections, alerts and security logs across systems.
• Lead incident response operations and publish incident reports.
• Design threat assessment services and model attacks.
• Identify vulnerabilities and implement preventive controls.
• Provide expert security design guidance for systems and projects.
• Develop and maintain secure data protection and access controls.
