Job summary

Intropic is seeking a senior security leader to own the security stack across cloud, endpoints, detection and response, and AI agent usage. You will set priorities, lead implementation, and own results in a fast-moving FinTech environment.

The role involves hardening EKS clusters, tuning detections, planning pentests, and enabling engineers with secure agent access. 5+ years of security experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Hands-on security experience across multiple domains in a FinTech or similar environment.
• Advanced AWS skills including EC2, S3, GuardDuty, Lambda, ECS, and EKS.
• Practical Kubernetes experience, ideally EKS.
• Experience threat modelling web apps and handling real incidents.
• Familiarity with AI agents in security tooling and production environments.
• Understanding of SOC 2 and comfort with Git.
• Working knowledge of device management tools like Jamf.
• Scripting ability to automate tasks (Python or Bash).
• Willingness to upskill in security, IT, or GRC areas.

Responsibilities

• Secure cloud infrastructure across AWS/GCP and manage end-to-end security tooling.
• Run detection and response, triage alerts, and expand coverage.
• Threat model new products and embed security in CI/CD pipelines.
• Define secure integration workflows for external SaaS apps and OAuth connections.
• Secure AI agent usage and production AI systems with business-wide mitigations.
• Establish automated patching across all cloud systems.
• Own SOC 2 activities, audit scoping, and evidence collection automation.
• Assist onboarding/offboarding and device fleet management (100 endpoints).
• Manage core SaaS estate including Google Workspace and GitLab access.
