Job summary

Leonardo UK is seeking a Principal Security Architecture Consultant to lead at the forefront of complex, high-impact programmes. You will shape secure systems at scale, influence senior stakeholders, and develop the next generation of security architects in a senior consultancy role.

You will own security architecture outcomes across engagements, drive secure-by-design practices, and mentor teams while maintaining customer trust within the Defence and national security spaces.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in security architecture leadership and design authority.
• Proven track record shaping security strategy for high-impact programmes.
• Strong consultancy leadership and stakeholder management in complex environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer engagements and act as trusted advisor to senior stakeholders.
• Define and assure enterprise and system-level security architectures.
• Apply security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, SABSA, Zero Trust) to programmes.
• Oversee risk modelling, threat identification and mitigation strategies.
• Mentor security architects and consultants; drive capability development.
• Support recruitment and talent development within the team.
